Do you offer wedding planning services?
Yes, we have packages that include wedding planning services.
Is a Wedding Planner required for weddings?
YES. We want you to enjoy your wedding. A Planner is some of the best money you will spend and is absolutely required.
How many guests can The Banyan Estate accommodate?
We comfortably accommodate up to 150 guests.
Do you host birthday parties, bridal showers, baby showers and other types of events?
Yes, within 45 days of your event date you may rent one room.
Do you offer outdoor spaces?
Yes, we have an outdoor patio with market lights, 2.5 acres of green space, Under the Bayan Tree, and the Arch.
May we use outside vendors or do we use the vendors on your preferred vendors list?
You may use outside vendors, but they must be licensed and insured and approved first. We do have preferred vendors that have worked at The Banyan Estate, and wetrust the quality of product/service they offer our couples.
Will another event be hosted on the same day?
If you have a non-exclusive rental then other events may be held on the same day.
Do you have a weather contingency/rain backup plan?
YES! With over 8,000 square feet of cooled/heated space, we have indoor options for ceremony, cocktail and reception. If you would like an outdoor ceremony and the weather doesn’t cooperate, we can move it indoors! We typically make that call a couple days before the wedding.
Do we have exclusive access to the property?
For weddings (not micro-weddings) you have exclusive access to all spaces and the grounds.
Can we do walk-throughs with our vendors?
Yes, we have scheduled open houses where you can bring friends, family, and vendors to view the Estate and ask questions.
May we have a rehearsal on site?
Yes, we allocate 1 hour for your rehearsal. Depending on scheduled events, this may be the day prior to your event or an alternate day.
What decorations does the venue provide?
We have various decorative tables, chairs, signs, a birdcage, linens, charges, couches, a greenery wall, sweetheart tables and more that you can use.
What type of tables and chairs are available for our use?
We offer 20 round 60” tables that seat 8 comfortably (can seat 10) and we have 4 beautiful wood 10’ tables that seat 10-12. We have 9 cocktail tables that can be tall or short. 3 six foot buffet tables, 2 eight foot buffet tables, folding six foot tables, folding four foot tables, and more.
When can we start decorating?
You have 2 hours prior to the event to start to set up. Additional access hours may be available for an extra fee.
Do you offer one room rentals?
Yes, within 45 days of your event date you may rent one room.
What hotels and accommodations are close to The Banyan Estate?

There also are several hotels within a 15-minute drive, including Captain Hirams and Hotel Melby.
Is there a secure area to store wedding gifts?
Yes, we have a private dressing room in the bridal suite that locks securely.
Do you allow sparkler exits?
Yes, outside. All trash must be picked up and properly disposed of.
Do you have an ice machine?
No, all ice must be brought on site. We do have a freezer for your use.
Is the Estate accessible for disabled guests?
The first floor is accessible. We have an ADA bathroom and a ramp on the side of the building to access the reception room. There is a small threshold, approximately 1.5 inches tall. The second floor is only accessible via stairs.
Is event insurance required?
Yes, it is approximately $1 per person.
Can we bring in our own alcohol?
Yes, but all alcohol MUST be served by a licensed, insured bartender.
